The Mars Petcare Global Innovation Center, situated in Thompson’s Station, TN, was specifically crafted to foster A Better World for Pets™. This pioneering facility, one of just three of its kind worldwide, consists of four buildings and dedicated testing areas for dogs and cats. It serves as Mars Petcare’s premier Global Center for Excellence, focusing on the development of dry cat and dog food.
Maryland Electric was chosen to design and implement the industrial power system for the heater/dryer lines in the facility. This involved tasks such as electrical load calculations, equipment selection, wiring, installation, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
