Rita Dancey

CEO

With a lifetime in the electrical industry, Rita brings a wealth of experience, including boots-on-the-ground service, emergency management, and several big box retail rollouts (47 and counting, to be precise). She applies her passion for estimating, consulting, and management to projects of all sizes in government, healthcare, retail, and other industries.

Starting her electrical career in high school, Rita has risen through the ranks over the decades to achieve a number of professional certifications, including SHRM in human resources and OSHA 30 General Construction. She’s also a proud member of NECA, WBENC, NAWIC, SBA, PTAC, and other prestigious associations. Rita especially cares about using her influence to help both women and younger generations enter the electrical workforce.

When she’s not leading MECO, Rita loves spending time with her family (including two amazing labradoodles), traveling, and antiquing.
