Del Conca, a renowned ceramic tile manufacturer based in Italy, achieved a notable milestone by opening its new $50-million facility in Loudon, Tennessee’s Sugarlimb Industrial Park. This expansive facility spans 320,000 square feet and commenced operations in early 2014. With ambitious aspirations, Del Conca aimed for an impressive annual production capacity of 30 million square feet of ceramic tile.
To ensure a seamless transition, the Maryland Electric team visited Italy twice to tour the Italian plant and develop a comprehensive plan to adapt the power systems and Italian machinery to American standards and specifications at the Loudon facility.
